SCARPA

SUSTAINABILITY

blue underline

Innovation and tradition share equally deep roots at SCARPA, which to this day remains a family owned company with its headquarters and performance footwear manufacturing facilities in the same regions of northern Italy where it got its start over 80 years ago in 1938. Founded in the foothills of the Dolomite Mountains, in the Asolo / Montebelluna region, an area long known for its quality, handcrafted footwear, SCARPA’s initial mission was to bring together all the best shoemakers in the Asolo area toward the goal of producing the best footwear anywhere. That part of the mission remains unchanged to this day, along with a continuously increasing focus on sustainability efforts. We believe strongly in our responsibility to operate in a sustainable and ethical manner, and our journey of continuous improvement here is well under way. While we will never achieve perfection in these areas, we are committed to pushing ourselves to do better, every day, every season, every year. We invite you to follow along, and support us as we travel down this path.
