SHELL

Thanks to the new Overlap Flow technology, the F1 RS shell combines Grilamid® FG LFT® and Pebax® Rnew® to deliver comfort, precision and control. The softer Pebax® Rnew® upper enhances fit and shell wrapping, naturally adapting to different foot shapes, while the Grilamid® FG LFT® lower shell provides high torsional stiffness for improved skiing precision and stability.

CUFF

The F1 RS cuff has been developed with the new Overlap Flow technology, combining Pebax® Rnew® and Grilamid® FG LFT® to achieve the ideal balance of mobility, support and skiing precision. The Pebax® Rnew® front flap promotes progressive flex and walking comfort, while the Grilamid® FG LFT® rear structure enhances torsional stiffness, delivering greater control and stability on the descent.

SKI/WALK MECHANISM

FS LEVER

Designed to guarantee maximum lightness and performance, the FS LEVER allows fast and intuitive transition from ski to walk mode thanks to the automatic return system.

FRICTION FREE TECHNOLOGY

The absence of a connecting rod between the shell and the cuff allows for smoother movement during the walking phase.

CLOSURE SYSTEM

BOA® H+i1 REMOTE CONFIGURATION

The BOA® H+i1 Remote system delivers powerful and precise closure, even on the stiffest shells. The geared configuration allows quick multi-directional micro-adjustments, enabling skiers to tighten or loosen the fit easily while on the move.

ALUMINIUM BUCKLE

Buckles made of aluminum guarantee lightness and durability. Their design ensures easy handling even with gloves. Micrometric adjustment and steel rings provide improved pressure distribution while maintaining a low weight.

BOOSTER STRAP

Dynamic elastic strap designed to deliver enhanced performance through secure and progressive closure. The elastic construction provides cushioning and shock absorption, improving shin comfort during high-speed skiing and demanding descents.

OVERLAP FLOW CONSTRUCTION

Building on the traditional overlap design, long recognized in alpine skiing for its power, precision and stability, SCARPA introduces the new Overlap Flow construction. This innovative technology combines softer instep panels for easier entry and more natural walking with a stiffer lower shell that enhances power transmission, precision and downhill control.

INNER SHOE

FS TOUR

Thermoformable Intuition liner made with exclusive Intuition Foam. The tongue-style construction features an elastic instep band and heel padding to provide optimal ankle retention during both skiing and touring. Dual pull loops on the cuff make entry quick and easy. Thermoforming is strongly recommended before first use.

INTUITION

Intuition liners represent the absolute benchmark in the world of thermoformable backcountry liners. Made from exclusive materials, they offer a durable, pressure-point-free fit while maintaining comfort. With excellent thermal insulation and extraordinary light weight, they ensure maximum efficiency and performance even in the most demanding conditions.

Ortholite

Advanced insole technology that significantly improves comfort, cushioning and breathability, creating a cooler, drier and more hygienic environment inside each shoe.

RECCO

The RECCO® reflector, integrated into equipment and clothing, enables professional rescuers equipped with RECCO® detectors to quickly locate a missing person, representing a global standard technology for avalanche rescue. Such a reflector requires no power, activation or maintenance and provides support to be searchable at all times. However, it does not replace personal self-rescue devices such as ARVAs. RECCO® SAR helicopter detectors allow large areas to be quickly scanned during searches for missing persons.

Vibram

The leading brand in the development and production of rubber soles designed for sports, with particular specialization in the outdoor sector. Research activity is mainly focused on grip, performance and durability of materials.

Materials

Pebax Rnew

Pebax® Rnew® materials are high-performance thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) produced from renewable sources, primarily castor oil. They offer outstanding performance thanks to a unique combination of properties: long-lasting flexibility at low temperatures, high impact resistance in cold conditions, and excellent energy return. These elastomers are on average 20% lighter than commonly used materials. Pebax® Rnew® materials bridge the gap between thermoplastics and rubber, offering a sustainable solution for a wide range of performance-driven applications in the sports industry.

Grilamid FG LFT

This material is reinforced with long glass fibers, which provide higher strength and stiffness values than short fibers at equal percentages. The long-fiber structure allows an increase in stiffness of between 20 percent and 30 percent, making the material particularly suitable for lightweight applications that require high levels of strength. In addition, all long-fiber reinforced polyamides exhibit significantly higher values of impact resistance than conventional fiber reinforced materials.
