All SCARPA footwear uses Europeansizing, except for the skiing boots.

  •  1 Euro whole size = 6.6 mm = 0.26 inches
  • 1 US whole size = 8.4 mm = 0.33 inches
  • Euro sizes provide a better, more precise fit for your intended use
  • Only Ski mountaineering and telemark skiing boots are in MONDOPOINT size.

Upsize (½ sizes) depending on desired fit for mountaineering boots.

For climbing shoes, the choice of downsizing (1 size) depends on the desired fit. In other shoes, you need a gap between the toes and the front of the toe box, which is necessary for walking. In climbing shoes, it is preferable to eliminate gaps, to increase sensitivity and precision when climbing.

 

SCARPA size chart

 

 

All SCARPA's ski mountaineering and telemark skiing boots ski measured in Mondo sizing. SCARPA ski boots break on the half size, this means that a half size shares the same shell length as the whole size above it but the liners are lasted for each ½ size. For example, a 25.5 and 26.0 are the same shell size but the respective liners come pre-molded to the half size. Some skiers may want to downsize up to 1 full Mondo size, depending upon personal preference.

SKI/WALK MECHANISM

SPEED LOCK LT

Specifically developed for the cuff of this model, the Speed Lock LT allows adjustment to three different forward lean positions.The transition from Ski to Walk phase is quick and easy. The clean, minimal hook design helps minimize snow and ice accumulation during the activity.

FRICTION FREE TECHNOLOGY

The absence of a connecting rod between the shell and the cuff allows for smoother movement during the walking phase.

POWER STRAP LITE

Lightweight Velcro® closure designed to ensure effective shin wrapping while maintaining a low weight. The integrated aluminum ring keeps constant tongue-to-shin contact, even during rapid direction changes.

WAVE LITE CLOSURE SYSTEM

Designed to provide effective and customized closure of the shell while minimizing pressure points. The coated steel cable, anchored at three points on the shell, works together with the micrometric lever adjustment and the integrated 4-tooth rack to adapt precisely to different foot shapes.

INNER SHOE

TOUR LT2

Tour LT2 liner delivers a precise fit adaptable to different foot shapes thanks to the use of fully thermoformable Intuition Foam. The closed-cell foam construction ensures excellent thermal insulation, lightweight performance and long-lasting durability, while maintaining a stable fit free from pressure points. Flex panels on the tongue and rear enhance mobility and walking comfort, while the Velcro fastening on the tongue allows precise gaiter adjustment. Two upper loops facilitate easy entry.

Grilamid FG LFT

This material is reinforced with long glass fibers, which provide higher strength and stiffness values than short fibers at equal percentages. The long-fiber structure allows an increase in stiffness of between 20 percent and 30 percent, making the material particularly suitable for lightweight applications that require high levels of strength. In addition, all long-fiber reinforced polyamides exhibit significantly higher values of impact resistance than conventional fiber reinforced materials.

This special high-performance polyamide is reinforced with long carbon fibers, which significantly improve the stiffness and resistance to extension of Grilamid®, while keeping the density unchanged compared to normal short fibers.
