Ski Mountaineering - Spain

Ana Alonso

Passion and Perseverance

Ana Alonso SCARPA Ski Mountaineering ambassador

Ana Alonso was born on December 7, 1994, in Granada, Spain, and found in ski mountaineering her greatest passion. Growing up among the mountains of the Sierra Nevada, she first practiced cross-country skiing before discovering
skimo at around 18, combining technique, endurance, and love for nature.

For years she balanced sport with her work as a ski instructor and guide, until her
results placed her firmly among the international elite. The 2025 World Championship silver medal in the mixed relay and the Spanish national title in the Individual race confirmed her talent and determination. Today Ana is one of the most representative athletes of Spanish skimo, with her eyes already set on the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
