LIFE RE-SHOES
BRING US YOUR WORN MOJITO
Help create a new generation of high quality recycled products.
Through research and testing, the project turns end-of-life footwear into resources, opening a new perspective on how shoes are designed, made and recycled.
COLLECTING THE WORN MOJITOS
STEP 1: COMPLETED
In the first phase, the project will involve SCARPA’s distribution network to gather worn MOJITO shoes from consumers. The goal is to obtain secondary raw materials to produce 15,000 pairs of new shoes.
REGENERATING
STEP 2: COMPLETED
The collected shoes will become part of a virtuous recycling system, which aims to turn them into new raw materials, aiming for reduced environmental impact compared to standard production processes.
THE NEW SHOE
STEP 3: COMPLETED
A completely new and high quality style of shoe will reach the market in 2026 to complete a circular and sustainable process.

Separation of materials and hydrolysis of leather, Evolo process for the production of regenerated leather.

Production of rubber sheets from secondary raw materials, separation of textile components and soles and conversion into components for new soles.
Innovando
Micrologistics for the collection of the used shoes, single-product traceability starting fror the end of life stage, management of reward system through a dedicated app.
Rubber Conversion
Devulcanisation of post industrial rubber scraps feed new shoes production.
