Luca Del Pero was born on December 5, 1997, in Carate Brianza, Lombardy. Growing up with sport in his veins, he found in mountain running his true identity: a place where effort, technique, and passion merge into one upward drive. After his beginnings in cross country and several years in mountain biking, he rediscovered in the mountains the sense of freedom he had felt as a child, exploring the trails of Lecco with his parents.

The turning point came in 2019, when mountain running became much more than training: it became a vocation. Since then, Luca has never stopped progressing, finding in the toughest climbs and most technical courses his natural dimension. With determination and humility, he has established himself internationally as one of the most complete and successful athletes of the new generation of trail running.

In recent years, he has claimed prestigious victories in the Skyrunner World Series and earned a World Championship medal, but what truly sets him apart is his ability to always run with the same passion as someone who has never forgotten his roots: every race is a return to the mountains, to their most authentic energy.
