Trail Running - Slovakia

Peter Frano

Silence, work, and peaks

Peter Frano running through mountains he loves

Peter Frano was born in 1996 in Brezno, a small town in the heart of Slovakia at the foot of the Low Tatras, which he still calls home. Passionate about sports since childhood, he began with football before dedicating himself to trail running at 18, drawn by the challenge of mountain paths near his home.

An unforgettable moment was his debut in Chamonix, where he had the privilege of competing among the best in the world. Today, while finishing his degree in physical education, he also coaches young trail runners, passing on his passion while enjoying the tranquility of the mountains. A meticulous perfectionist, Peter prepares for each race with the conviction that “Work hard in silence, let your success make the noise.”

For him, the mountains are a reflection of his character: a place of freedom and introspection where he feels small in front of their eternity, yet deeply alive on every trail.
