Chris Davenport

It’s About Finding Perfect Lines in Incredible Places

Chris Davenport ski touring

Chris Davenport was born on January 27, 1971, in New Hampshire, but found his true home in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Raised in an extraordinary natural environment and inspired by a passionate sporting community, he turned snow and mountains into a lifelong path.

In more than 35 years of career, he has explored every dimension of skiing: from alpine racing to freeride competitions, from ski mountaineering to exploratory expeditions, and work as a mountain guide. His identity can be summed up in one uncompromising phrase: “I am a skier.”

He has skied all over the world, but certain places continue to inspire him more than others: the Antarctic Peninsula, the Chugach Range in Alaska, and the Dolomites. For Chris, the mountain is not just about performance, but an ongoing journey in search of the perfect line in incredible settings.
