All SCARPA footwear uses Europeansizing, except for the skiing boots.

  •  1 Euro whole size = 6.6 mm = 0.26 inches
  • 1 US whole size = 8.4 mm = 0.33 inches
  • Euro sizes provide a better, more precise fit for your intended use
  • Only Ski mountaineering and telemark skiing boots are in MONDOPOINT size.

Upsize (½ sizes) depending on desired fit for mountaineering boots.

For climbing shoes, the choice of downsizing (1 size) depends on the desired fit. In other shoes, you need a gap between the toes and the front of the toe box, which is necessary for walking. In climbing shoes, it is preferable to eliminate gaps, to increase sensitivity and precision when climbing.

 

SCARPA size chart

 

 

All SCARPA's ski mountaineering and telemark skiing boots ski measured in Mondo sizing. SCARPA ski boots break on the half size, this means that a half size shares the same shell length as the whole size above it but the liners are lasted for each ½ size. For example, a 25.5 and 26.0 are the same shell size but the respective liners come pre-molded to the half size. Some skiers may want to downsize up to 1 full Mondo size, depending upon personal preference.

CARBON CORE + PEBAX RNEW

Low-volume, made of Pebax® Rnew® featuring CARBON CORE technology. The overmolded carbon insert allows for direct transmission of impulses from the foot to the ski, delivering greater precision, responsiveness and control even in the most demanding skiing conditions.

SKI/WALK MECHANISM

SECURE SPEED LOCK 4

New aluminum mechanism reinforced for freeride use, integrating a safety locking system specifically designed for downhill performance. In ski position, the system ensures high rigidity and rear support comparable to alpine ski boots.

CLOSURE SYSTEM

BOOSTER STRAP

Dynamic stretch elastic strap designed to be firmly secured for optimal performance. The cushioning provided protects the shins from impacts during descent. Additionally, it integrates RECCO technology, enabling professional rescue teams to quickly locate the skier in case of an avalanche accident.

4 BUCKLES

Four lightweight and durable magnesium buckles designed for easy handling even while wearing gloves. Micrometric adjustment and steel cables ensure precise closure and improved pressure distribution while maintaining a low weight.

SKI CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM

AXIAL ALPINE HYBRID

The straps integrated into the tongue and linked at the mid-point of the shell provide precise forefoot wrapping and a secure fit across different foot shapes and volumes. The result is a fit is comparable to that of piste boots featuring traditional overlap construction.

INNER SHOE

4 PRO FLEX RIDE

Fully thermoformable Intuition liner, designed for optimal customization to the skier’s foot, thanks to the use of exclusive Intuition Foam. The closed-cell foam structure ensures a high level of thermal insulation. The new tongue with plastic reinforcement offers superior support during skiing and helps reduce pressure on the shin. The ORTHOLITE footbed, made from O-Term material, guarantees maximum thermal insulation.

Axial Alpine Hybrid Construction

Designed specifically for hybrid boots designed for both on-piste and off-piste use. Grip Walk

Soles designed to significantly improve walking over traditional alpine ski soles while maintaining high performance and increased safety while skiing. The sole/binding interface is optimized to ensure precise transmission of impulses to the ski and accurate release, increasing both safety and control while skiing. To ensure full compatibility and optimal performance, original GripWalk bindings or 100% compatible Tour bindings, easily identified by the official logo, must be used. Standard alpine ski bindings without the GripWalk logo are not compatible.
