The Art of Skiing the Vertical

Vivian Bruchez on Mont Blanc

Vivian Bruchez was born in Chamonix, in the heart of the French Alps, where towering mountains have always shaped his identity. From an early age, he nurtured a deep passion for skiing and mountaineering, finding in steep slopes and vertical exploration his true calling.

Guided by the desire to combine technique, commitment, and creativity, Vivian has become one of the most refined interpreters of extreme skiing, drawing elegant lines on slopes once thought impossible to ski. At the same time, his work as a
mountain guide allows him to share knowledge, passion, and respect for the mountains with new generations.

For Vivian, skiing is not just a sport but a language through which he communicates with nature — a form of expression that embraces both the limits of the possible and the beauty of the impossible.
