Size Chart

All SCARPA footwear uses Europeansizing, except for the skiing boots.

  •  1 Euro whole size = 6.6 mm = 0.26 inches
  • 1 US whole size = 8.4 mm = 0.33 inches
  • Euro sizes provide a better, more precise fit for your intended use
  • Only Ski mountaineering and telemark skiing boots are in MONDOPOINT size.

Upsize (½ sizes) depending on desired fit for mountaineering boots.

For climbing shoes, the choice of downsizing (1 size) depends on the desired fit. In other shoes, you need a gap between the toes and the front of the toe box, which is necessary for walking. In climbing shoes, it is preferable to eliminate gaps, to increase sensitivity and precision when climbing.

All SCARPA's ski mountaineering and telemark skiing boots ski measured in Mondo sizing. SCARPA ski boots break on the half size, this means that a half size shares the same shell length as the whole size above it but the liners are lasted for each ½ size. For example, a 25.5 and 26.0 are the same shell size but the respective liners come pre-molded to the half size. Some skiers may want to downsize up to 1 full Mondo size, depending upon personal preference.

OPTIMIZED TOURING POINT

In order to maximize all efficiencies when moving uphill, some models with TLT fittings have moved the tech toe fittings further under the foot. This effectively makes for a more natural stride that offers significant energy savings, especially important on big days!

NOTE: binding mounting location is different than standard TLT mounting instructions.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS:
boot center to ski center

  1. Mount the TLT heel piece in the standard mounting location.

  2. To mount the TLT toe piece: move the toe rearwards from ‘standard’ mounting location, towards the heel piece, by «X», the specified distance for each boot.

Focus

GAITER

OVERLAP SHIELD TECH

Made of Lycra with over-injected soft plastic reinforcements. The flap, positioned under the lever of the Wave Lite Closure System, facilitates putting on the boot and ensures a uniform closure around the instep, preventing pressure points. The varying thicknesses of the over-injected reinforcements provide protection while keeping weight low. The gaiter offers high insulation and is easily adjustable thanks to positioning bands and Velcro® straps.

SHELL

GRILAMID FG LFT® SHELL

Long Fiber Technology is a material reinforced with long glass fibers, providing rigidity while ensuring increased impact resistance.

3D LAMBDA FRAME

Designed with a specific structure that enhances lateral stability and ensures uniform torsional rigidity from heel to toe, while simultaneously reducing thickness and containing weight without compromising performance.

CUFF

GRILAMID FIBER GLASS LFT®

Made from Grilamid Fiber Glass LFT® (Long Fiber Technology), reinforced with long glass fibers for significantly increased strength and rigidity.

GRID FRAME TECH

The cuff’s grid design stiffens the rear section, optimizing impulse transmission during the descent phase. Riveted soft panels ease fit and improve tibial wrap.

SKI/WALK MECHANISM

SPEED LOCK LT

Specifically designed for the cuff of this model, it allows adjustment to three different inclinations. The transition from ski to walk phase and vice versa is simple and fast. The clean and minimal design of the hook on the shell minimizes the accumulation of snow and ice during activity.

FRICTION FREE TECHNOLOGY

The absence of a connecting rod between the shell and the cuff allows for smoother movement during the walking phase.

CLOSURE SYSTEM

WAVE LITE CLOSURE SYSTEM

Closure system that allows effective and personalized adjustment of the shell closure, eliminating pressure points. The coated steel cable, anchored at three points on the shell, combined with micrometric lever adjustment and the integrated 4-tooth rack, enables the closure to adapt to any foot type.

POWER STRAP

Lightweight Velcro® closure that ensures constant contact of the tongue on the shin, even during rapid direction changes.

INNER SHOE

TOUR LT2

The Tour LT2 liner ensures a precise fit adaptable to every foot type, thanks to the use of fully thermoformable Intuition Foam. The closed-cell foam structure provides excellent performance in thermal insulation, lightweight, and durability, offering a stable fit free of pressure points. Flex panels on the tongue and rear improve flexibility during walking, while the Velcro on the tongue allows precise gaiter adjustment. Two loops on the upper part facilitate fitting. The ORTHOLITE footbed is made from recycled material.

Technical Partners
Icon

EMS-Grivory

Specialized in the production and development of high-performance polymers, with a special focus on technological innovation in polyamide-based materials. Its materials stand out for excellent impact resistance that remains constant even at low temperatures, a necessary condition in the manufacture of ski boots and bindings.
Icon

INTUITION

Intuition liners represent the absolute benchmark in the world of thermoformable backcountry liners. Made from exclusive materials, they offer a durable, pressure-point-free fit while maintaining comfort. With excellent thermal insulation and extraordinary light weight, they ensure maximum efficiency and performance even in the most demanding conditions.

Ortholite

Advanced insole technology that significantly improves comfort, cushioning and breathability, creating a cooler, drier and more hygienic environment inside each shoe.
Icon

RECCO

The RECCO® reflector, integrated into equipment and clothing, enables professional rescuers equipped with RECCO® detectors to quickly locate a missing person, representing a global standard technology for avalanche rescue. Such a reflector requires no power, activation or maintenance and provides support to be searchable at all times. However, it does not replace personal self-rescue devices such as ARVAs. RECCO® SAR helicopter detectors allow large areas to be quickly scanned during searches for missing persons.
Icon

QUICKSTEP

Quick Step-In inserts make it easy and safe to place and attach the boot to the binding. Specially designed side grooves allow easy insertion into the binding. The system is patented, extensively tested and guaranteed to deliver reliability and high performance.
Icon

Vibram

The leading brand in the development and production of rubber soles designed for sports, with particular specialization in the outdoor sector. Research activity is mainly focused on grip, performance and durability of materials.
Materials
Icon

Grilamid FG LFT

This material is reinforced with long glass fibers, which provide higher strength and stiffness values than short fibers at equal percentages. The long-fiber structure allows an increase in stiffness of between 20 percent and 30 percent, making the material particularly suitable for lightweight applications that require high levels of strength. In addition, all long-fiber reinforced polyamides exhibit significantly higher values of impact resistance than conventional fiber reinforced materials.
GAITER SHELL Construction

Gaiter Shell Construction

Gaiter construction is the ideal solution when the goal is to minimize weight without compromising performance. Designed specifically for lightweight touring boots and race models, this construction provides protection, precise fit, and a significant reduction in overall weight. The design allows high levels of comfort, downhill performance and water resistance to be maintained, even in the most demanding conditions.
