All SCARPA footwear uses Europeansizing, except for the skiing boots.

  •  1 Euro whole size = 6.6 mm = 0.26 inches
  • 1 US whole size = 8.4 mm = 0.33 inches
  • Euro sizes provide a better, more precise fit for your intended use
  • Only Ski mountaineering and telemark skiing boots are in MONDOPOINT size.

Upsize (½ sizes) depending on desired fit for mountaineering boots.

For climbing shoes, the choice of downsizing (1 size) depends on the desired fit. In other shoes, you need a gap between the toes and the front of the toe box, which is necessary for walking. In climbing shoes, it is preferable to eliminate gaps, to increase sensitivity and precision when climbing.

All SCARPA's ski mountaineering and telemark skiing boots ski measured in Mondo sizing. SCARPA ski boots break on the half size, this means that a half size shares the same shell length as the whole size above it but the liners are lasted for each ½ size. For example, a 25.5 and 26.0 are the same shell size but the respective liners come pre-molded to the half size. Some skiers may want to downsize up to 1 full Mondo size, depending upon personal preference.

Focus

UPPER

Made of technical fabric with water-repellent microfiber reinforcements and PU containment film. Features a Sock-Fit Plus construction integrating a protective gaiter crafted from a single piece of elasticized fabric: durable, breathable, and water-repellent. The gaiter wraps the foot like a sock, ensuring a precise and comfortable fit while allowing natural foot movement. PU tech edging along the profile provides enhanced lightness.

LACING

FAST LOCK LITE is a lacing system divided into two distinct zones. Webbing lace guides enable progressive wrapping of the foot and precise volume adjustment without causing constriction. The slider secures and locks the fit firmly. LACE PROTECTION COVER is a protective cover for the lacing system made of PU, featuring a specially designed structure.

LINING

The HDry® membrane, waterproof and breathable, is securely laminated inside the upper, providing protection with reduced thickness.

SOLE

Spin-S Tech, designed and developed by SCARPA in collaboration with Vibram®, features reduced thicknesses and low-profile volumes for a precise and lightweight fit. The outsole is made with Vibram® Megagrip compound. Compatible with semi-automatic crampons.

OUTSOLE

Made with Vibram® Megagrip compound, it offers excellent grip and adaptability on both dry and wet terrain.

EXO

The upper construction system developed by SCARPA, a company that has always been a synonym for innovation and reliability. SOCK-FIT PLUS Technology Scarpa

SockFit PLUS

Scarpa reinterprets the concept of functionality, agility and comfort by creating innovative construction systems that wrap the foot like a sock, offering the feeling of being at one with their footwear. In the SockFit PLUS system, the gaiter and tongue are developed in a single piece using a seamless Knit technology with different thicknesses and degrees of elasticity. This construction, which perfectly envelops the foot, ensures maximum lightness, precision and agility of movement.

IT CAN BE RESOLED

This shoe can be resolved at one of the official SCARPA resole shops. We recommend resoling before the wear and tear is excessive to preserve performance and prolong the life of your shoe or boot. Check out the full list of authorized centers on the store locator.

Thanks to the high quality standards of HDry®, the footwear made with this system provides excellent performance in terms of waterproofing, breathability and thermal insulation. The waterproof, breathable membrane is solidly bonded to the inner surface of the upper, sealing every seam and eliminating spaces between the lining and upper where water could infiltrate. This system prevents rain, snow, and cold from entering, keeping the inner surface dry and creating a stable microclimate by retaining air between the foot and the upper.
