All SCARPA footwear uses Europeansizing, except for the skiing boots.

  •  1 Euro whole size = 6.6 mm = 0.26 inches
  • 1 US whole size = 8.4 mm = 0.33 inches
  • Euro sizes provide a better, more precise fit for your intended use
  • Only Ski mountaineering and telemark skiing boots are in MONDOPOINT size.

Upsize (½ sizes) depending on desired fit for mountaineering boots.

For climbing shoes, the choice of downsizing (1 size) depends on the desired fit. In other shoes, you need a gap between the toes and the front of the toe box, which is necessary for walking. In climbing shoes, it is preferable to eliminate gaps, to increase sensitivity and precision when climbing.

All SCARPA's ski mountaineering and telemark skiing boots ski measured in Mondo sizing. SCARPA ski boots break on the half size, this means that a half size shares the same shell length as the whole size above it but the liners are lasted for each ½ size. For example, a 25.5 and 26.0 are the same shell size but the respective liners come pre-molded to the half size. Some skiers may want to downsize up to 1 full Mondo size, depending upon personal preference.

UPPER

Sock-like upper made with knit technology, combining various yarns and structures to ensure elasticity, durability, and abrasion resistance. Polartec® Windbloc® provides maximum protection against wind, water, and cold while maintaining the necessary breathability to effectively evaporate internal moisture.

LACING

LACE PROTECTION COVER is a protective cover for the lacing system made of PU, featuring a specially designed structure. SPEED LACING SYSTEM: Trail running-inspired system designed to enable smooth lace movement and quick fit adjustment in a single motion. FAST STRAP VELCRO: Adjustable ankle strap designed to ensure maximum adaptability, providing support during climbing and comfort while walking.

LINING

The patented HDry® '3D Direct Lamination' technology ensures maximum performance in waterproofness, breathability, and lightweight design. This innovative construction system blocks water on the outermost layer, preventing absorption by the footwear and enhancing comfort in all weather conditions.

The HDry membrane is OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified and completely free of PTFE; no perfluorinated compounds (PFC, PFOS, PFOA) are used during its production.

SOLE

Precision Tech Roll Lite is an innovative system offering lateral stability, secure braking, long-distance comfort, climbing efficiency, lightweight design, and precision. Unique in its category thanks to the DROP 6 feature.

OUTSOLE

Made with Vibram® Megagrip compound, it offers excellent grip and adaptability on both dry and wet terrain. Compatible with semi-automatic crampons.

INSOLE

Made with OrthoLite® O-Therm, it combines open-cell PU foam with aerogel to create an effective thermal barrier.
It provides advanced thermal insulation and long-lasting all-day comfort.

Thanks to the high quality standards of HDry®, the footwear made with this system provides excellent performance in terms of waterproofing, breathability and thermal insulation.
